THE BASICS
The Panthers took an early lead just seven minutes into the match when Freshman
Adrien Danley fed a beautiful pass to Junior
Payton Rausch who found the back of the net. The remainder of the half remained scoreless. In the second half, Ferrum quickly extended their lead to 2-0 off a goal by Sophomore
Jadon Brooks. The Cougars quickly responded to narrow the gap to 2-1. The match was then interrupted by a lightening delay. Upon returning to the field, Averett was able to even the score. However, Ferrum kept their poise and in the 78

Anthony Ceballos-Medina scored the game winning goal, sealing the victory for the Panthers.
