ASHLAND, Virginia -- Ferrum College's volleyball team dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) road match to Randolph-Macon College, falling 3-0 tonight at Crenshaw Gym. Set scores for the league match were 25-9, 25-16, 25-14.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon jumped out to a 19-5 lead in the opening set en route to the early 1-0 lead. The Yellow Jackets led 5-4 in set two, than used an 11-2 run to grab a commanding l16-7 lead and cruised the rest of the way in taking a two sets to love lead.Â
In the third and final set,
Ruthie Richardson's kill of a
Kenzee Chaffin set got Ferrum to within two points at 4-2, but that was as close at the Panthers would get. Randolph-Macon went on a 16-5 run to extend the lead to 20-9 and never looked back in closing out the match and remaining unbeaten in ODAC play at 3-0.
