HARRISONBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College's women's soccer team kept its win streak alive at nine games with a 5-1 victory over Eastern Mennonite University this afternoon in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play at EMU Turf Field.

THE BASICS
The Royals drew first blood with Mary Kate Bomberger's unassisted goal at the 13:53 mark.
Bri Bitz answered for the Panthers with an unassisted goal at 27:30 to even the score and the 1-1 stalemate would hold up through halftime.
Ferrum unloaded with a barrage of goals in the second half, starting with Bitz ripping a shot into the lower left side of the EMU net off a pass from
Jadyn Patton in the 54th minute of play to put Ferrum on top for good.
Amber Nichole Gillen added an unassisted goal seven minutes later, Bitz scored her third goal of the game, unassisted, in the 83rd minute. Gillen then added a late goal at 87:17 with an assist from
Brooke Jackson to close it out.
