Liberty Kickoff - Day 1 Results, 12/4/25
LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Ferrum College opened the 2025-26 indoor track & field season Thursday, December 4, at the Liberty Kickoff. The season opener was hosted by Liberty University at the LU Indoor Track Complex. Ferrum had five individuals compete in jumping and throwing events.
The Panther contingent was led by
Deontae Lawson, who finished 9th in a field of 26 competitors in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.39 meters.
Jaiden Childress also posted a top-20 finish in the men's long jump with a distance of 5.79 meters.
Kyle Holcomb was 22nd in the men's weight throw with a distance of 11.27 meters.
Two women competed in the women's long jump.
Nadiyah Abdussalaam was 37th and
Dezyre Christian was 39th with distances of 4.54 meters and 4.15 meters, respectively.
