Day One Results

SALEM, Va. -- The Ferrum College men's and women's track teams completed first day action at the Finn-Pincus Invitational, held at Roanoke College's Cregger Center. The event is named in honor of former Roanoke Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, Finn Pincus, who led Roanoke to 22 ODAC titles and coached two individual national champions.

THE BASICS
The Panthers had seven personal records and a season best. Tristan Peterson had a PR in the men's 60m prelims and another in the semis. Camille Vaughn, Zyreonia Patterson and Day'Ana Mackey all had PRs in the women's 60m prelims, then Vaughan had another in the semis.

Ferrum's Carly Carwile also posted a PR in the women's 3000m. Nadiyah Abdussalaam had a season best time in the women's 60m hurdles to round out the top honors for the Panthers today.
