PEMBROKE, N.C. -- Ferrum College's volleyball team fell in a Conference Carolinas road match Saturday, dropping a 3-0 decision to UNC Pembroke at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court.

THE BASICS
UNC Pembroke claimed the match in straight sets, winning 25-14, 25-14 and 25-15.
The Braves set the tone early, taking the opening set 25-14 before repeating the score in the second set to build a 2-0 match advantage. UNC Pembroke closed out the contest in the third set, earning a 25-15 victory to secure the sweep.
Ferrum recorded 24 kills as a team, led by Selah Dellinger and Lily Ritzema with six kills apiece. Catherine Bennett and Makayla Rumley added four kills each for the Panthers.
