BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Ferrum College's men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaker Wednesday, February 4, on the road to King University, falling 80-75 at King's Student center Complex.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led big early on with
Rodrigo Farias' pair of free throws making int a 26-13 game at 6:05 of the first half. King chipped away at the lead and got it down to 33-27 at the break.
In the second half, the Tornado swirled with an 18-7 run in the first five minutes of play to take a 45-40 lead at the 15:41 mark.
Alfredo Abel-Rivera's two free throws tied the game at 45-45 less than a minute later. King countered, opening a nine-point lead on Luis Acevedo's layup at 10:06 to make it a 58-49 game.
Ferrum answered with a, 11-2 run, tying the game at 60-60 when
Gerren Jones was fouled and knocked down a pair of free throws at the 6:36 mark. Jones made one of two free throws at 4:17 to put Ferrum in front 67-66, the Panthers' last lead of the night. King closed the game with a 13-8 run.
