THE BASICS
Ferrum broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with a five-run rally to take control early. The Panthers strung together several hits during the frame, highlighted by a two-run double from Jachob Walters as Ferrum built a 5–0 advantage.

The Panthers extended their lead in the fourth inning with a 10-run outburst. Walters delivered the biggest swing of the inning with a grand slam, while Garrett Pancione added a two-run hit and JJ Mulhern contributed with a sacrifice fly as Ferrum surged ahead 15–1.

Emory & Henry pushed across a run in the third inning and added two more in the fifth to trim the deficit to 15–3, but Ferrum continued to apply pressure at the plate. The Panthers plated another run in the fifth inning before Mulhern launched a three-run home run during a six-run seventh inning that stretched the lead to 22–5.

The Wasps added one final run in the bottom of the seventh, but the Panthers' offensive explosion proved too much to overcome.
