ROCKY MOUNT, Va. -- The Ferrum College women's tennis team fell to Johnson C. Smith University, 4-0, in a non-conference home match this afternoon at Franklin County Recreation Park.

Johnson C. Smith opened the match by securing the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 1 to take the early advantage. In singles play, JCSU clinched the match with three completed victories. The Golden Bulls earned straight-set wins at No. 3 and No. 5, while adding a competitive straight-set victory at No. 1 to secure the 4-0 team result. Play at No. 2 and No. 4 singles was left unfinished after the match was decided.
