MURFREESBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College's women's tennis team fell 6-1 in a Conference Carolinas road matchup at Chowan University on Wednesday afternoon, April 1, at Rose Family Tennis Complex.

THE BASICS
Chowan claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 while also earning a default at No. 3. In singles play, Ferrum picked up its lone point at No. 2 as Stephanie Porras rallied for a three-set win over Feidi Rodriguez, 3-6, 6-0, 10-7. The Hawks secured the remaining singles matches, including straight-set victories at No. 1, No. 3, and No. 4. Chowan also added points by default at No. 5 and No. 6 to complete the conference victory.
