FERRUM, Va. -- The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Association has announced its 2025-26 College Division Wrestling All-State Teams, and Ferrum College had three wrestlers recognized.
Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman
Ezekiel Keel, who was named second team All-State and named the 2026 VaSID College Division Rookie of the Year. Sophomore

Braeden Fluke also earned second team All-State honors. Both wrestlers qualified for the NCWA Nationals and placed in the top eight in their respective weight classes.
Keel captured the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) 125-pound national championship at the 2026 NCWA Nationals, held March 26-28 at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Shreveport, Louisiana. He finished the season with an unbeaten 10-0 record. Keel also won the NCWA Mid-Atlantic Conference title and was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.
Cortes punched his ticket to the NCWA Nationals with a runner-up finish at the Mid-Atlantic Conference Championships at 157 pounds. He went on to place sixth at the NCWA Nationals, finishing the season with a 24-12 record that included 10 pins, four technical falls and two major decisions.
Fluke finished runner-up at the NCWA Mid-Atlantic Conference Championships and followed that with a seventh-place finish at the NCWA Nationals in the 285-pound weight class. He was especially impressive at nationals, where he posted a 5-2 record with all five of his wins being recorded as pins. Fluke closed out the season with a 19-14 record, including a team-high 15 pins.
Ferrum finished with an 8-8 overall dual meet record in its first season of NCAA Division II competition. The Panthers were led by first-year Head Coach
Blake Roulo, who was named the 2026 NCWA Mid-Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year.
