Ferrum College men's soccer team battled Southern Wesleyan University through 90 minutes of play this afternoon, but eventually fell 1-0 in Conference Carolinas play at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Southern Wesleyan scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute when Brody Schroeder found the back of the net off assists from Sebastian Zumbado and Mason Councill.
Ferrum generated four shots in the opening half and six more after halftime, finishing with a 10-7 advantage in total shots, but could not find the equalizing goal.
