FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College fell to North Greenville University, 41-10, Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas football action at W.B. Adams Stadium. The Panthers trailed 21-10 at halftime and held the Trailblazers scoreless through the third quarter before North Greenville scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, including two interception returns.

THE BASICS
North Greenville scored twice in the opening quarter and added another touchdown early in the second to build a 21-0 lead. Ferrum answered with a 22-yard field goal by
Jon Davis with 31 seconds remaining in the half, then
Eli Foutz connected with
Jason Preston on a 29-yard touchdown pass with two seconds left to cut the deficit to 21-10 at the break.
North Greenville opened the scoring with 2:57 remaining in the first quarter when Jackson Parrish scored on an 11-yard touchdown run, capping a seven-play, 69-yard drive. The Trailblazers added two touchdowns in the second quarter. Sam Washam caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Kam Montgomery with 10:16 remaining, and Parrish followed with a 62-yard touchdown reception from Montgomery at the 8:37 mark to make it 21-0.
Ferrum responded with a pair of scores in the final 31 seconds of the half. Davis connected on a 22-yard field goal with 31 seconds remaining, then Foutz found Preston for a 29-yard touchdown with two seconds left, trimming the deficit to 21-10 at halftime.
Neither team scored in the third quarter. Ferrum's defense forced two punts and an interception during the period, while the Panthers drove inside the North Greenville 25-yard line before turning the ball over on downs.
North Greenville added a touchdown on Jaiden McDowell's 18-yard run with 2:01 remaining. The Trailblazers then scored twice in the final 1:41 on interception returns. Kaliber Hoey returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown, and RJ Glasgow returned another interception 86 yards for a touchdown as time expired.
