FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College women's soccer team opens the 2009 season at home tonight against Randolph College. The non-conference game is set to begin at 8 p.m at Penn-Roediger field on the Ferrum campus.

The Panthers are led by third-year Head Coach Sandy Lagana, who has 11 returners back from last years 7-11-1 team. Ferrum is led by returning All-Conference player LaQuinta Garrett, who earned first team accolades in both 2007 and 2008.
