LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Keith Crump had 23 points and Derek Mitchell had 21 as Ferrum College improved to 10-0 with a 73-59 win over Covenant College tonight on the road.

Crump was 9-15 from the floor, drilling three treys.  Mitchell was 9-12 and added 11 rebounds, five steals, three assists and a pair of blocked shots. Marcus Mayo added 11 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Ferrum opened the game with a 24-10 and never looked back en route to a 42-24 halftime lead.  The Panthers out-rebounded the Scots 36-24.

Covenant (1-11) got 13 points each from Callum Sears and Kacey Chambers.  Sam Bowman and Chase Foster added 10 points each in the loss.

Ferrum (10-0) plays Friday, Dec. 31, at LaGrange College.  The non-conference game gets underway at 2 p.m. in LaGrange, Georgia.
