FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College opened a 6-0 lead after two innings, only to see Bridgewater College come back to post an 11-7 non-conference baseball win this afternoon at Panther Field.

The Eagles scored three in the fourth inning, two in the sixth, two in the seventh and four in the eight. Bridgewater (16-12) got home runs from Mitchell Edwards, Brett Howell and Andrew Hacker. The two teams combined for nine errors, five for Ferrum and four for Bridgewater.

Jason Butterworth went 3-4 with three runs for Ferrum (16-9), while Paul Jaglowski went 3-5 with a triple, two runs and an RBI. Caleb Dorton went 2-4 with a double and an RBI.

The Panthers close out regular season home action Friday, April 9, against Virginia Wesleyan College. The non-conference game will begin at 3 p.m. at Panther Field. Prior to the game, the College will celebrate Senior Day, during which eight graduating seniors will be honored.
