Men's Soccer Earns First Win

ASHLAND, Va. -- Ferrum College picked up its first men's soccer win of the season with this afternoon's 1-0 non-conference victory over Bridgewater College in the Randolph-Macon Select Tournament. 

Chris Key scored the lone goal for Ferrum, unassisted in the 68th minute of play.  Ferrum goalkeeper Chris Taylor preserved the shutout for the Panthers, playing all 90 minutes in net and making 10 saves.

Bridgewater (0-4) got four saves from goalkeeper Travis Moore.  Ferrum (1-3) plays again on Sunday against host Randolph-Macon at 2:30 p.m.
