2025 CSC Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team
FERRUM, Va. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have announced the 2025 Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team and Ferrum College's
Michael Arzillo and
Payton Rausch have been honored.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. An undergrad student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergrad and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
Ferrum finished its first season as an NCAA Division II school with a 5-9-3 overall record under Head Coach
Matt Cureton. The Panthers posted a first-round win in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Tournament. Seven players graduate this season, including Rausch, while another 27 are eligible to return for the 2026 season.
