FERRUM, Va. -- Kayla Trippeer and Jordan Link combined for 14 kills, but Ferrum College fell in straight sets to Guilford (25-15, 25-14, 25-15) on Friday night inside Swartz Gym. 

Link also tied for match-high honors in digs with eight.  Bridget Atkinson dished out 16 assists in the defeat.

Mary Moody put down a match-high nine kills for the Quakers (10-14) to go along with six aces, which was also a match-high.  Malikah French contirbuted seven kills for a match-high .600 attacking clip.  Taylor Whitley compiled 29 assists.

The Panthers (0-24) begin a three-game road trip Sunday when the Black and Gold take on Meredith College at 2 p.m. and Peace College at 4 p.m. as part of a USA South volleyball quad in Newport News, Va.
