FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 non-conference match to Emory & Henry College tonight at Swartz Gym.  Set scores were 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.

Kayla Trippeer had nine kills and four digs for Ferrum, while Leah Quinones had 19 assists.  Jordan Link had five kills and three service aces in the loss.  Phoenix Miller and Rachel Stratton had three kills each.

Emory & Henry (10-5) got 11 kills from Jamie Cockerham and 23 assists from Fallor Davis.  Morgan Grant had nine kills and Nicole Tesh had eight.

Ferrum (0-17) returns to action October 7-8 at the Roanoke Invitational.  On Friday, the Panthers face Randolph College at 3 p.m. and Hollins University at 5 p.m.  Saturday will see Ferrum facing host Roanoke at 10 a.m. and Washington & Lee University at 2 p.m.
