FERRUM, Va. -- Bridgewater College scored a run each in the fourth and fifth innings, and two in the eighth to earn a 4-0 non-conference baseball win over Ferrum College tonight at Panther Field.

Ryan Easterly and Eddie McGrath had two hits each for Ferrum, while Paul Jaglowski and Travis Crump each had one hit.  Micheal Williams, who pitched the fourth and fifth innings, absorbed the loss for the Panthers.

Starter Robert Gallet pitched six innings to get the win for Bridgewater (21-15), allowing two hits and no runs.  Bryan Sanderson, Jay Thompson and Brett Howell each had two base hits for the Eagles.

Ferrum (16-17) will be back in action Thursday, april 14, at the 2011 USA South Tournament.  Coach Darren Hodges' team will play as the #7 seed, facing #2 Christopher Newport University at 4:30 p.m. at Burlington Athletic Stadium in Burlington, North carolina.
