PULASKI, Va. -- Ferrum College earned a 12-3 baseball win over Emory & Henry College April 6 at Calfee Park. Charles Beacom had a solo home run for the Panthers in the non-conference win.

The game was played at Calfee Park, which is home to the Pulaski Mariners.  The Mariners are an advanced rookie team in the Appalacj=hian League and a farm team of the Seattle Mariners.

Morgan Boles earned the win on the mound.  Corey Inman went 3-5 with a pair of RBI.  The win gives the Panthers a sweep of the two-game series, having also won 11-3 March 29 in Emory, Virginia.

Ferrum (15-15) returns to the diamond Thursday, April 7, at Bridgewater College.  The non-conference game gets underway at 4 p.m. in Bridgewater, Virginia.  Coach Darren Hodges' team will then host USA South opponent North Carolina Wesleyan College April 9 and April 10 at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
