FERRUM, Va. -- Southern Virginia University improved to 5-0 with a non-conference volleyball win over Ferrum College tonight at Swartz Gymnasium.  Set scores were 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Jordan Link led Ferrum with six kills on 18 attacks, and added two digs and a service ace.  Leah Quinones had 12 assists and six digs to lead the Panthers in both categories.  Kemberlea Simmons added five kills in the loss.

Bryndy Anderson had 10 kils for the Knights, while Brynn McGinn had nine.  Nicole GGwynn had 24 assists and Sara Harmon had 10.

Ferrum (0-4) returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 14, at home against Shenandoah University.  The USA South opener gets underway at 6 p.m. at Swartz Gym.
