CONCORD, W.Va. -- Kari Simon scored a pair of goals to help Concord University overcome a 2-0 deficit and force overtime, then Chloe Barber scored tha game-winner 11 minutes into OT for a 3-2 non-conference women's soccer win over Ferrum College.
Kara Pegram and
Morgan Funck scored for the Panthers (5-7).
Casey Johnson and
Antoinette Roland were credited with assists on the goals.
Caitlyn Deaton had six saves in net for Ferrum, while Kaitlyn Wasylko had five saves for Concord (3-6-2).
Coach Liesl Narrow's team returns to action Saturday, Oct. 6, on the road against LaGrange College, a USA South Athletic Conference newcomer. The league match gets underway at 9 a.m. in LaGrange, Georgia.
