LaGRANGE, Ga. --
Morgan Funck had two goals to lead the Ferrum College women's soccer team to a 2-1 USA South Athletic Conference win over LaGrange College this afternoon on the road.
Funck scored her first goal early in the match, finding the back of the net just 1:57 in with an assist from
Megan Webb. Funck made it 2-0 Ferrum after scoring the eventual game-winner with 49 seconds left in the first half.
Antoinette Roland was credited with the assist on the play for Ferrum (6-7, 4-2 USA South).
Elisa Hopson scored for LaGrange (8-6, 1-5 USA South) in the 67th minute of play to help LaGrange avoid the shtout. Cailyn Deaton played all 90 minutes of the league match, making a pair of saves. Chelsea Totaro also played 90 minutes, making four saves for LaGrange.
