HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a 91-81 non-conference men's basketball game to Eastern Mennonite University this afternoon in the second day of action at the 2012 EMU Tip-Off Tournament.
Jamal Pullen scored 24 points to lead the Panthers for the second time in as many games.
Pullen was 9-13 from the floor and a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line, scoring over 20 points for the second straight game. He had 26 points in Friday's 85-72 win over Bridgewater College.
Shon Goode had 11 points against Eastern Mennonite,
Lamont King had 10 points, and
Brian Clarke had nine points and seven rebounds. Ferrum outrebounded EMU 38-24.
David Falk came off the bench to score 23 points for the Royals (2-0), going 10-11 from the floor. Dajon Daniel had 21 points, with a pair of three-point buckets.
Ferrum (1-1) returns to action Tuesday, Nov. 20, on the road against Emory & Henry College. The non-conference game gets underway at 5:00 p.m. in Em,ory, Virginia. Coach Bill Tharp's squad with play its home-opener Sunday, Nov. 25, against Randolph-Macon College. The non-conference game begins at 2 p.m. at Swartz Gym.
