Maryann Castaneda had a pair of goals to lead the Ferrum College women's soccer team to a 5-1 USA South Athletic Conference road win Sept. 22 over Mary Baldwin College.

Morgan Funck added a goal each for Ferrum.
Coach Liesl Narrow's team outshot Mary Baldwin 13-4. The Fighting Squirrels got their only goal from Caitlin Noval. Ferrum starting goalkeeper Caitlin Deaton played 77:40 and made a pair of saves.
Chelsea Wingate played the final 12:20 between the pipes without facing a shot. Erin Dullahan played all 90 minutes in net for Mary Baldwin, making 19 saves.
Ferrum (3-4, 2-0 USA South) plays Sunday Sept. 23, at Christopher Newport University. The USA South contest is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m. in Newport News, Virginia.
