WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Kara Pegram scored a pair of unassisted second-half goals in Ferrum Colege's non-conference women's soccer loss to McDaniel College this afternoon on the road.  Caitlyn Deaton made eight saves in net for Ferrum. Meghan Sturgill had two goals for McDaniel (2-0).

The Panthers (1-3) return to action Saturday, Sept. 5, at home against Piedmont College.  The Lions are new members of the USA South Athletic Conference, making the match Ferrum's home and league opener.  The match gets underway at 10:00 a.m. at Penn-Roedgier Field.
