Lamont King had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Ferrum College in a 62-57 non-conference men's basketball loss to Marymount University tonight on the road. The loss stopped a three-game win streak for the Panthers.
Marymount (5-11) got 16 points from Reed Scott, while Antonio Rouse and JC Hoelich had 12 points each. Ferrum led by four at halftime, but shot just 29% from the floor after the break.
J.D. Wallace had nine points for Ferrum (8-7). The Panthers return to action Wednesday, Jan. 23, at home against Greensboro College. The USA South contests gets underway at 7:00 p.m. at Swartz Gymnasium.
