GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Allison Gibson had a pair of goals and Melanie Raton had one as Greensboro College built a 3-0 lead, then held on for a 3-2 USA South women's soccer win this afternoon over Ferrum College. Ae'Niesha Mar scored both goals for the Panthers, including one with seven seconds left in regulation.

Jessica Thatcher got the win in net for Greensboro (8-5-1, 6-2-1 USA South), posting six saves. Caitlyn Deaton made three saves for Ferrum (7-6, 4-5 USA South). Greensboro outshot Ferrum 12-11, but the Panthers closed with a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
