MEMPHIS, Tenn. --
Ethan Wakefield scored with three seconds left in regulation to lift Ferrum College to an 11-10 non-conference men's lacrosse win over Rhodes College this afternoon on the road.
Ferrum led 10-7 with 6:27 left to play, only to see the Lynx (4-2) score three straight, including Matt Vavrek's game-tying goal with 3:14 showing on the clock.
Will Walter had three goals, and Wakefield and Danial Batong had two goals each for the Panthers.

Nick Smith each scored once for Ferrum. GK
Damian Pulos played all 60 minutes in net, posting nine saves.
Merrill Charette scored four goals for Rhodes, while Jason Lee had two. GK Braxton Carr also logged 60 minutes in net, stopping 15 shots.
Ferrum (1-4) returns to action Wednesday, March 5, at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. The non-conference game is scheduled to get underway at 7:00 p.m. in Danville, Kentucky.
