FERRUM, Va. --
Ethan Wakefield had four goals to lift Ferrum College to a 13-4 non-conference men's lacrosse win over Bridgewater College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.
The Panthers jumped out to an 8-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Wakefield notched the fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth goals in that stretch. The two teams played even in the second quarter and Ferrum led 10-2 at halftime.

Will Walter had two goals each for the Panthers (2-8).
Damian Pulos played the first 30 minutes in net with two goals allowed and five saves.
John Michael Smith logged all 30 minutes of the second half, allowing two goals and stopping four shots.
Andrew Buss played all 60 minutes in net for the Eagles (4-3) with 13 saves. Ferrum returns to action Saturday, March 22 at Saint Vincent College. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. in Latrobe, Pennyslvania.
