EMORY, Va. -- Morgan Funck scored in the 104th minute of play to lift Ferrum College to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Emory & Henry College in non-conference women's soccer action tonight on the the road. Funck's goal came off a pass from Briana Carel.

The Wasps outshot Ferrum 13-6 overall and closed with a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks. Goalkeeper Caitlyn Deaton posted three saves, playing all 104 minutes in net. Ferrum (2-2) returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 16, against non-conference opponent Eastern Mennonite University. The home-opener for the Panthers begins at 7:00 p.m. at Penn-Roediger Field.
