Derek Thomas had seven saves and stopped a penalty kick to lift Ferrum College to a 4-1 non-conference men's soccer win over Emory & Henry College tonight at Penn-Roediger Field.

Julian Ofori from the right side less than two minutes into the game and blasted the shot past E&H goalkeeper Didier Grillet for a 1-0 lead. The Wasps responded in the 15th minute with a goal from Chandler Hundman. The Panthers answered with a goal off
Michael Midyette's free kick in the 21st minute to take a 2-1 lead at the break.
Keith Ricks and
Kyle Simpkins scored insurance goals in 69th and 81st minutes, respectively.
Moore Dolue assisted on Simpkins' goal.
