SALEM, Va. -- Rashawn Speas had a game-high 18 points to lead Ferrum College's men's basketball team past University of Dallas 65-59 this afternoon in the consolation game of the V Foundation Classic at Roanoke College.

How It Happened
Ferrum led early and held a 35-19 lead at halftime. The Panthers extended the lead to 22 points when Marvin Wilson drilled a three-pointer with 17:27 left to play. The Crusaders used a 40-23 run over the next 17 minutes to trim the lead to 64-59 on Michael Sarrat's three-pointer with 22 seconds left.
