Alek Ayer had 21 as Ferrum College picked up a 75-74 non-conference men's basketball road win over Emory & Henry College tonight at John Rutledge King Center.

How It HappenedFerrum led 33-29 at the break, but the Wasps came back to take a 66-65 lead with 4:25 left to play on a pair of free throws by Aaron Ferguson. Ayer buried a three-pointer from the right side with 3:29 left top play and the Panthers were back out front for good. Ryan Gravely's three-pointer with one second left in regulation was the final count.
