Meghin Martin had three goals to lead Ferrum College to a 6-1 non-conference women's soccer win over visiting Randolph College in the season-opener for both schools tonight at Penn-Roediger Field. Martin's hat trick was the 20th in school history.

How It HappenedAina Tuck scored Ferrum's first goal in the 15th minute of play, followed by Martin's first goal in the 28th minute. Martin would go on to score back-to-back goals in the 71st and 73rd minutes, one on an own goal, to pace the Panthers.
Chloe Hudson and
Jazlyn McGinnis added a goal each in the win. Sam Hablas helped the Wildcats avoid the shutout with a goal in the final minute of play.
