How It HappenedDe'Andre Mullen had eight points as Ferrum took a 29-28 halftime lead. Mullen gave Ferrum its final lead of the game when he drilled a three-pointer at 15:34 of the second half to take a 38-37 lead. Piedmont used a 20-10 run over the next eight minutes to grab its biggest lead at 57-48 with 7:17 left to play. Ferrum closed the game with a 14-8 run.
