DANVILLE, Va. -- Payton Stuart's unassisted goal in overtime ended the suspense and gave Ferrum College a 1-0 USA South women's soccer win over Averett University tonight at Campbell Stadium.

THE BASICS
The two teams battled through a scoreless 90-minute regulation and the first 10-minute overtime period. With less than four minutes left in the second overtime period, Stuart drilled a shot from 20 yards out past Averett goalkeeper Bailee Brown into the upper right hand corner of the net at 106:35 and the Panthers charged the field in celebration. The win was Ferrum's seventh shutout this season.
