Josh Dudley had 17 points and nine rebounds, both game-high totals, as the Ferrum College men's basketball team opened USA South play with a win 75-62 win this afternoon at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Covenant led most of the first half, including twice by six points.
Josh Grimard's three-pointer with 1:50 left in the half gave the Panthers their first lead at 27-24, and was part of a 12-0 run that put Ferrum out in front 31-25 at the break. Ferrum led by as many as 17 points late in the second half, then held on for the win.
