THE BASICS
Ferrum trailed 61-55 with less than five minutes left to play, but used a 7-0 run over the next 2:30 to grab a 62-61 lead. Justin Vallejo then made a layup with 2:27 left to put the Lions on top 63-62. After a pair of possessions in which neither team could score, Turner knocked down his three-point shot from in front of the Panther bench with four seconds left in regulation. The Lions got down the floor in time for Kelly Assinesi to get off a last-second shot, but his jumper was off the mark and the Panthers held on for the comeback win.
