EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College routed Earlham College 5-0 in non-conference men's soccer action played this morning at Emory & Henry College. The win was the Panthers' first shutout of the season.

THE BASICS
Four different players scored for the Panthers, and Earlham had an own goal. Ferrum led 3-0 at the break courtesy of goals by Keith Ricks, Moore Dolue and Kyle Simpkins. Shamarr Perry added a goal after the own goal. GK Derek Thomas played all 90 minutes in net for the Panthers, making eight saves.
