FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College and Averett University played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw in USA South men's soccer action tonight at Penn-Roediger Field on Senior Night.

THE BASICS
Ferrum's Keith Ricks scored first at 1:51 off an assist from Matthew Poirier. Averett's Tobias Andreasson notched an unassisted goal in the 81st minute of play to send the game into overtime. Ferrum out-shot Averett 19-16 and closed with a 14-10 edge in corner kicks. It was Averett's seventh overtime game this season. Poirier, Ricks, Antonio Carrabotta, Roberto Cardoso, Nelson Manzanares, Jordan Brown and Oliver Flood were all honored with a Senior Night ceremony prior to the game.
