MARYVILLE, Tenn. -- Maryville College proved to be too much as Ferrum College dropped a USA South Athletic Conference men's basketball game to the Scots, 79-66, this afternoon on the road.

Maryville led 40-26 at the break. The Panthers pulled to within nine points in the second half at 59-50 on Josh Dudley's jumper with 8:21 left to play, but the Scots were never threatened from there.
