FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College swept a pair of game in a non-conference softball doubleheader against visiting Bluefield College tonight at American National Bank Field.

THE BASICS
Ferrum scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning of game one on an RBI single by Tiffanie Moore, an RBI single by Cheyenne Strickland and an RBI double by Maddie Ols to break a 2-2 tie. In the nightcap, Ferrum scored a run each in the third and fourth innings, then hung on for the win. Kaitlyn Pennington scored the Rams' lone run in the third inning on a solo homer over the center field fence.
