FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College women's soccer picked up a non-conference win, narrowing out Brevard College with a score of 2-1 this afternoon at Penn-Roediger Field.

Payton Stuart placed the ball in the top right corner of the net for the Panthers giving them a 1-0 lead. Megan Shina found the back of the net for the Tornadoes in the 35th minute to even the score 1-1 before the break. With nine minutes remaining, Staurt received an assist from
Mac Cannaday for her second goal of the afternoon. Staurt's second goal would result to be the eventual game-winner. Ferrum's
