Panther Men Beat Covenant 2-1 in Overtime

FERRUM, Va. -- Moore Dolue's goal in the 97th minute of play lifted Ferrum College to a 2-1 USA South men's soccer win in overtime over visiting Covenant College tonight at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Dolue took a free kick by Michael Lyons and headed it past Covenant goalkeeper Johnathan Crossman into the upper left corner of the goal at 96:14 for the win. Jesse Riggs had a goal for Covenant at 17:18, but Ferrum's Keith Ricks equalized the score with a goal at the 42:30 mark.

Crehan's team will be back in action Sunday, Sept. 24, at William Peace University. The USA South contest is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start in Raleigh, North Carolina.
