COACH'S THOUGHTS
"I thought we competed hard, executed our offense decently and shot the ball at a respectable percentage," said Head Coach Tyler Sanborn. "We just could not get stops on the defensive end and made too many careless turnovers. Give credit to Maryville, they are strong at every position and have a deep bench. They are extremely well coached and made us pay with counters each time we tried to take away an aspect of their offense."
NEXT GAME
Sanborn's team will be back in action Friday, Jan. 12, at North Carolina Wesleyan College. The USA South game tips off at 7:30 p.m. in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
