DEMOREST, Ga. -- Ferrum College dropped a USA South Athletic Conference men's basketball game tonight on the road to Piedmont College, falling 75-48 at Cave Arena.

The Lions led by 11 at the break, and eventually widened the lead to 35 points midway through the second half. Piedmont shot 56% from the floor in the USA South win to Ferrum's 32%, and out-rebounded the Panthers 43-28.
