Panthers Sting Wasps in ODAC Match up

FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College won an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's soccer game against Emory & Henry College, 2-0 at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Ferrum's Casey Raggett found the back of the net off of a Frances Best pass within 21 seconds of the second half. Cayla Berry then fed the ball to Raggett again for the final goal of the game in the 82nd minute of play for the Panthers. Taylor Dodson played all 90 minutes in net posting one save for Ferrum. Kaela Schlevensky posted 11 saves in 90 minutes of play in goal for the Wasps. 

BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"We started off slow in the first half with a lot of posession but couldn't get it together in the final third. After halftime we made a few adjustments and came out a lot better and hungrier to score goals. I proud of the team for finishing strong." -- Head Coach Erin Saleeby

Coach Saleeby's team will be back in action Saturday, Oct. 5, at Sweet Briar College. The ODAC game is set to start at 4:00 pm in Sweet Briar, Va.
